Alaïa x Picasso

Created in partnership with the Picasso Administration in a limited edition and sold only in selected Alaïa boutiques worldwide, this collection celebrates Picasso’s artistic genius and is a tribute to Azzedine Alaïa who, above all, cherished the artist and the dialogue between the arts.

Picasso seizes the earth to transfigure the Tanagras. Odes to the beauty of women’s bodies and unequalled masterpieces, present in the greatest collections around the world, Picasso’s Tanagras were made between 1947 and 1948.
They fascinate Pieter Mulier, creative director of Alaïa, who wanted to pay tribute to the genius of the artist by creating six dresses, six exceptional pieces.
