Organized and curated by the Michelangelo Foundation, Homo Faber is a cultural movement centered on creative artisans. Through its biennial exhibition and education initiatives, Homo Faber showcases the finest in contemporary craftsmanship.

This year, Alaïa pays tribute to the savoir-faire of knitwear, presenting a knitted gown with a sleeveless bodice and a flared skirt, featuring individually cut and hand-sewn silk feathers. 

Guided by a rigorous approach to construction, knit becomes a medium of sculptural expression. It creates a dialogue between technique and sensuality, where every stitch contributes to the architecture of the silhouette.
