"Dialogue" is a series of cultural projects directed by Pieter Mulier.
A time to slow down and question the possibilities of fashion, by inviting it to dialogue with other creative forms.
Alaïa's third Dialogue was with six of Paris’ most prominent design galleries: Galerie Jacques Lacoste, Galerie Kiyama, Galerie Kreo, Galerie Maxime Flatry, Galerie Patrick Seguin, Galerie Vallois.
Photographed by Katja Rahlwes, six distinct variations of Le Teckel, the Maison’s iconic bag designed by Pieter Mulier, were presented in these six galleries. Placed in closed proximity to unique design pieces, each bag became part of a conversation between form, function, and artistry; and appeared as an object in its own right.
A testament to how Pieter Mulier’s Alaïa is intertwined with the language of design.
